About Meta
Kate and Bree founded Meta Massage & Bodywork in 2020. As two medical professionals with a passion for massage therapy, they use their education and expertise to target your specific health care needs. They don’t view massage as simply a road to relaxation -- although this is often still an outcome. Bree and Kate speak the language of your primary care physician, your chiropractor, your physical therapist, and they will collaborate your care with them to provide you with the most effective and individualized treatment plan.
Bree and Kate have sought out massage therapy as an extension of their medical field careers because they believe in bodywork as a part of healthcare. Now they have started to build a team of like minded individuals with the goal of providing many different manual techniques to serve their community.

As an RN, Kate worked in several different capacities, but spent the majority of her career in Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology. In 2012, seeking adventure, she traveled to Ireland where she studied to be a massage therapist and opened her own business. In 2020, she returned to the states and now teaches nursing skills at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, pathology at East West Healing Arts Institute, while still following her passion for massage therapy. When not working, you can find her reading, listening to podcasts, or cooking elaborate meals for her close friends and family.
Bree pursued an education in human physiology after developing an appreciation for movement and exercise as a ballet dancer. After graduating from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2016, Bree spent several years working in physical therapy and cardiology before pursuing massage therapy. She is now an instructor at East West Healing Arts Institute where she teaches kinesiology, deep tissue, sports massage, and cupping. Her hobbies include yoga, reading, hiking, and spending time with her partner, Michael and dog, Luna.
Kylie has always held a holistic mindset, which is what drew her to East West Healing Arts. There, she met Bree and Kate as a fellow student. After earning her license in massage therapy, she pursuing a certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, which had interested her for quite some time. Now, she uses her gentle but powerful techniques to meet clients unique needs. Kylie practices what she preaches - movement as medicine. She spends her free time practicing yoga, hula hooping, biking, and longboarding.
